Terms of Service & Legal Disclaimers
Please review our formal business terms, liability limits, and accuracy requirements before submitting your order specifications.
1. Professional B2B Status & Operational Schedule
Commercial Stencil Systems operates strictly as a Business-to-Business (B2B) industrial supplier. We do not cater to retail consumer markets. Our customer support operates Monday through Friday, excluding recognized national holidays. Any project requests, proof approvals, or communications received outside of active hours will be processed on the following standard business day.
2. Design, Sizing, & Blueprint Proofing Accuracy
Customer Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all submitted text, numbers, layout dimensions, border configurations, and custom vector or graphic design files.
Proof Verification: While we provide a digital layout proof within 1–2 business days, your formal approval serves as your binding verification. Commercial Stencil Systems is not financially or operationally responsible for typographical errors, spelling mistakes, incorrect scaling, or design flaws once a digital proof has been officially approved for manufacturing. Proofs must be approved or revised within 10 days of being sent, and approved proofs are final.
Modification Cutoff: Because orders move into production once a proof is approved, orders cannot be changed or updated once a proof is approved. Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of being placed and before production begins, subject to any manufacturer cancellation fees. Rush and expedited orders cannot be canceled once placed.
3. Shipping, Transit Delays, & Lost Freight
Business Day Calculations: All stated digital proofing, manufacturing, processing, and shipping windows calculate using business days only (Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays).
Third-Party Carrier Limitations: Freight and shipping transit is handled by independent third-party commercial carriers. Stated manufacturing turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed, and we are not liable for transit delays, weather closures, or supply chain disruptions caused by the carrier network once the freight leaves the manufacturer.
Reporting Lost Shipments: If carrier tracking indicates your shipment is lost, missing, or stalled in transit, you must email our support team immediately at info@commercialstencilsystems.com so we can initiate an official carrier tracer and expedite a resolution for your job site.
4. Damaged or Defective Cargo Policy
No Cash Refunds: Because every industrial stencil is custom-cut or precision-manufactured to order, we do not issue cash, credit card, or corporate refunds for items damaged during shipping.
Replacement Policy: If your cargo arrives bent, broken, or structurally defective due to transit handling, we will work with the manufacturer to arrange a replacement or other resolution. To start a claim, you must email photos of the visible damage and packaging to our support team within 7 days of delivery. Claims reported later may not be eligible.
5. Industrial Product Use & Safety Disclaimer
All products sold by Commercial Stencil Systems are intended for professional commercial, construction, and industrial job-site applications. The purchasing entity assumes all operational risk, safety compliance responsibility, and structural liability regarding the physical application and use of our products. Commercial Stencil Systems shall not be held liable for any structural alignment errors, failed site inspections, contractor scheduling delays, idle labor penalties, or personal property damage resulting from the use, application, or field deployment of our stencils.
6. Returns, Pricing, Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Returns: Custom and made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Stock items, where the manufacturer permits returns, are subject to the manufacturer's return terms, including any restocking fee and return shipping costs.
Pricing: Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to change if manufacturer pricing, quantities, or specifications change. Sales tax, where applicable, and freight are quoted separately.
Color & Finish: Colors and finishes may vary slightly from screen proofs and samples. Minor variation is not a defect.
Warranty: Manufacturer warranties, where offered, are passed through to the customer. Commercial Stencil Systems makes no additional warranty, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
